The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County and Kitchen of Champions is very excited to announce our next Guest Chef event featuring Tanya Holland of Brown Sugar Kitchen and B-Side BBQ! Ticket price includes a complete 4-course meal, wine, beer samplings, and music.

Menu


First Course:

Gingered Sweet Potato Soup with cayenne pepitas and goat cheese cream

 

Second Course:

Creole Glazed Jumbo Prawns with Black-eyed pea salad

 

Third Course:

Brown Sugar Smoked Brisket, Roasted Garlic and Spinach Spoonbread, Red Onion Gravy

 

Fourth Course:

Lemon Chess Tartlettes

 

Guest Chef will take place on Wednesday, November 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., inside the Free Dining Room, 675 23rd Street, Oakland, 94612.

 

Guest Chef is an event that provides SVdP with the opportuity to fundraise for our Kitchen of Champions culinary training program in addition to providing a training opportunity for the students and graduates.   All proceeds of the Guest Chef dinner will go toward the funding of scholarships for future Kitchen of Champion students.
